Certified Nurse Assistant is a program designed to prepare you for future employment as certified nurse assistant. A variety of experiences are offered, including classroom study and clinical experience in long-term care facilities.
Prerequisites: High School Diploma or GED
Age: Adults 17+
Location Served: Rochester/Monroe County and surrounding counties
Certified Nurse Assistant Entry Requirements:
- Current Year Income
- 1040/1040A or 1040 EZ Tax Form (wage statement and paystubs NOT accepted); or
- Letter of Introduction and current Budget Sheet from DHS; or
- Total income from Social Security, Disability, or Supplemental Security
- Photo Identification
- United States Citizenship (New York State Driver License, United States Passport or NYS Department of Human Services Photo Benefit Card); or
- Legal Alien Status (I-94 or Green Card)
- Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Test
- 7.5 reading comprehension
- 6.0 math
- Immunization Record
- MMR record from physician (included in REOC Certificate of Health form)
- Entry Requirements: Complete REOC Certificate of Health Statement form, two letters of reference, interview with Nursing Department.
