About This Program

The Nurse Assistant is an active and valued member of a health care team. CNAs help the nurse in providing care for the resident/patient. The Rochester EOC CNA training is provided through instructor-led theory and textbook instruction, lab training, and clinical practice. Students become certified after successful completion of both the Nursing Assistant program and the New York State Prometric Examination.

Program graduates often use this program as a stepping stone to further nursing education.
