Product and Quality Technician

Re-Nuble is currently seeking a Production and Quality Technician to support the production of our product line. As an integral part of our operations, you’ll not only be operating equipment, but you’ll be developing new processes and best practices to ensure quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and operates production equipment
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Documents production processes
  • Establishes system and maintains orderly recordkeeping for Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Regularly inspects and evaluates processes and products for quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Performs quality checks and regular auditing, and works with supervisor to develop and implement quality management system
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves production issues as they arise
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment, and ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Ensures waste products are properly disposed of

Location and Schedule:

In-person in Rochester, NY. (Note that Re-Nuble will be relocating to a larger facility in the next year within 30 driving minutes of our current operation)

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least one year of manufacturing experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required. Position requires hands-on capability to operate all machinery and equipment. Training will be provided
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and lifting
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds at a time
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 per year
