Job Duties:

• Evaluate customer shipping orders to determine the type of transportation needed.
• Contact carrier representatives to plan and issue instructions for loading and delivery of products.
• Load and unload shipping trucks.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks and more safely and efficiently.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather, and maintain all data relative to shipping activities.
• Organize and arrange warehouse for safety and straightforward manageability.
• As facilities support person this position collaborates with the leadership staff in completing facility related projects with support from the Production Engineer to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications:

• COVID Vaccine Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Previous experience working with domestic and international shipping vendors preferred.
• Previous experience in preparing shipments and documentation for international transit preferred.
• Strong organizational skills necessary to perform job duties effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
