Summer Camp Counselors

The Town of Brighton Recreation Department is actively searching for Summer Camp Counselors for the following camps:

Playground Camp(s)

Responsibilities:

Lead recreation programs and activities for children in Grades K-5, Grades 5-8 OR ages 3-5 in a variety of activity areas including:

• Games, arts & crafts, sports, drama, music and special events.
• Assists with supervision to ensure participant safety
• Organize supplies and materials for activities
• Maintain rapport with participants and their families

Qualifications:

Applicant must be 16 years of age.
Previous experience working with youth is preferred.

Employment Period:

July 3 – August 11 (6 weeks, no program 7/4)
Mandatory Orientation June 28th & 29th

Hours Can Range:

Monday – Friday, 8:15 am – 3:00 pm, 34 Hours / week
OR Preschool camp 8:30am – 12:00pm

Salary: $15.00/hour
