Program Description
This program is for individuals who need to renew their Child Development Associate Certification. Individuals must have previously obtained the Child Development Associate Certification. Features include: 4.5 continuing education units; Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and Family child care recertifications; Membership in National Early Childhood Association; Update of First Aid Certification; and Networking with other child care professionals.
CAREER OUTLOOK
Employment of preschool teachers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Growth is expected due to a continued focus on the importance of early childhood education. ¹
